the days ago when I despair for the future of Chardonnay. Just a string examples of uninspired, too manipulated with loads of false taste of oak and makes me swear against things for weeks.But just need a good bottle to remember why some of the great wines of the world made from the grape variety.

MacMurray Ranch Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2009 (suggested sales, $20;) ( available on the market of $ $12-20) It is a good example of a California Chardonnay which saw some time in a barrel, this is why there are elements of flavour are derived from oak, i.e. a note of Vanillin, apparently not all false or forced. Hooray! Input for wine comes from its aromas of Apple and mass (a bit like an Apple crumble), with a hint of fresh vanilla is a prelude to the upcoming flavors. The flavours are dominated by cream and Apple, with a score of melon, that I can not say that I tried in a Chardonnay before, but it adds an interesting dimension to the wine. Creamy Vanilla notes persist in the mouth after its last swallow. Very good Queens Park Rangers, if you like rich and full-bodied California Chardonnays are still loyal to the vine.
